energy conservation products
Francesca Crolley,v.p(marketing)

Industrial Nanotech, Inc. researches, develops, and brings to market nanotechnology-based products which focus on energy saving, earth friendly technologies. Our first products were released to market in April of 2004, and have made a huge difference in reducing energy consumption in a variety of marketing’s, one of those being textile equipment and facilities. Industrial Nanotech is a global leader in nanoscience solutions for industry, commercial and consumer needs.

Q1.TEXTILEGENIUS.COM    we thank you very much for giving us an opportunity and we request you to explain about your product, which is a   global success in textile industry as well as other industries in specialized of energy conservation?

Answer: Our Nansulate High Heat coating has become a very successful energy saving tool for the textile industry. It allows a cost effective and flexible energy saving solution that generally provides a return on investment in less than one year. The coating is a thermal barrier and also provides corrosion resistance. It allows equipment to use less energy for operation due to the control of heat loss, and also has shown to improve dye lot consistency when used on dye machines. Other benefits offered are reduced surface temperature of hot equipment which aids in personnel safety issues. The coating is clear, and is applied by sprayer, brush, or roller, which allows for less expensive installation. It s currently providing reported energy savings for textile facilities in the range of 15-25%

Q2.TEXTILEGENIUS.COM     Who and all your competitors? How your product is competitively specially edged over others?

Answer: For much of the textile machinery that our coatings are applied to, there is no competitive product. This is because of the shape of the equipment, such as dye machines, heat exchangers, LNG burners, etc.. Make it nearly impossible to use a rock wool or other similar insulation. Our coating allows then to spray directly on the equipment, no matter what its shape. Our product also is unique in that it provides both thermal insulation and corrosion prevention in one product. A thin film coating insulator also has another benefit over traditional insulation methods, such as rock wool, in that it is not infiltrated by moisture, mold, or other contaminates, therefore its insulating ability is consistent over time, unlike that of other traditional types of insulation.

Q3.TEXTILEGENIUS.COM     Who are of your top satisfied customers in the textile industry? Brief their experience and their repeated orders

Answer: Henateks Tekstil: Their application was on LNG burners, dye machines, steam boilers, and heat exchangers. Energy costs were reduced by approx. 20%, customer savings was approx. $600,000. Annually, and return on investment for their project was 6-7 months.

Keyteks Tekstil: achieved a 25% time reduction in heating 3 tons of water, also overall an energy savings of more than 20% was achieved throughout 2007. Savings approx. 1 million USD, annually. Return on investment 4 months.

Erenko Tekstil: application on dye machines. Reproducibility improved due to consistency of heat on insulated machine. When used on heat exchanger, the uncoated steam-based heat exchanger needed 24 heat-on cycles whereas the Nansulate coated machines heat exchanger only needed 2 heat-on cycles for the same process.

DEBA Tekstil: This application is still ongoing. Application is replacement of rock wool insulation on steam lines with Nansulate coating, also coating other equipment, such as dye machines, LNG burners, heat exchangers, boilers, etc..

Q4.TEXTILEGENIUS.COM     How your project yourself in market in year 2008-2009?

Answer: We expect to increase our market in the textile industry as other countries learn of the technology and what it can do. We have already had an Indian textile company visit one of the Turkish applications, and we also have a large American company running trials. We also see expansion to coating dye machines and dryers at the manufacturer before they go to the plant.

Q5.TEXTILEGENIUS.COM    What are your new products expected/going to launch?

Answer: Our newest product that has recently launched is Nansulate EPX. This is a water-based 2-part epoxy system, which provides thermal insulation, corrosion prevention, chemical resistance, and flame resistance. We will trial this one at our current installation ongoing at DEBA textile. We believe that this product will also be useful in textile facility applications along with our High Heat Coating, and will give added benefits of faster cure time, ability to do thicker application in one pass, and chemical and flame resistance.

Q6 TEXTILEGENIUSCOM     How you rate textile industry as a specialized scope for your market growth?

Answer: We rate the textile industry highly for ability to grow a specialized market. The data we have already formulated, which includes magazine articles written by our customers, speaks for itself as far as energy savings that can be achieved by use of our coatings. We see our coatings becoming a standard on new dye machines and dryers from the factory, and being incorporated into the plant facility energy saving protocols. It has proven itself in this industry, and now we work to introduce it as an industry standard for textile facilities.

Q7.TEXTILEGENIUSCOM    Energy conservation points in the textile industry/if any?

Answer. Our coatings reduce energy consumption by an average of 15%-25% in textile facilities. This equates to savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars in energy costs per year which our customers are seeing. Its flexibility allows use on a variety of equipment for controlling heat transfer and providing corrosion resistance, such as dye machines, dryers, heat exchangers, LNG burners, steam lines, boilers, and even on facility walls and ceilings as well to reduce heating and cooling costs of the building.

By reducing energy used, the textile facility not only saves money, but contributes less carbon emissions into the atmosphere due to reduced energy consumption.

Q8 TEXTILEGENIUSCOM    How your product balances environmental values?

Answer: Nansulate coatings are water-based and environmentally friendly. They are considered low VOC coatings. They have huge positive environmental impact due to their capacity to reduce energy consumption not only for textile and other industrial applications, but also for commercial and government buildings, and home residence applications as well. Imagine if a whole town or city were utilizing them only in a minimal application, and the entire town s energy consumption could be reduced by 15%. The impact that would have on carbon emissions and reduction of energy use is quite substantial. Out technology has that ability.
